The New Mexico State Fair Commission accepting sealed proposals for a racetrack and casino operation or for alternative uses through Friday, August 25, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. MST.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be issued as of July 24, 2011. Firms or individuals interested in obtaining a copy may contact Susan Rebman at (505) 222-9743 or Karen Giles at (505) 222-9720 at the administrative offices of Expo New Mexico between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The administrative offices are located on the State Fairgrounds, 300 San Pedro NE, Albuquerque, NM, 87108.
Completed RFPs should be returned to EXPO New Mexico, PO Box 8546, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87198-8546, or hand-delivered to the Procurement Manager or her designee no later than the deadline.
Deadline: Friday, August 25, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. MST. Late responses, posted or hand-delivered, will not be accepted.
The Procurement Code, Sections 13-1-28 through 13-1-199 NMSA 1978, imposes civil and criminal penalties for its violation. In addition, the New Mexico State criminal statutes impose felony penalties for illegal bribes, gratuities, and kickbacks.
New Mexico State Fair reserves the right to refuse any or all proposals.
